Miss Mavanna with her year 8 helpers at the "Glow" stall

Last Friday Home Hill SHS enjoyed a bumper Fete as part of the Golden Anniversary celebrations.  The huge crowd was blown away by the multitude of stalls, dancing, fashion, food and fun.

The crowd was made up of a large number of parents and friends, eager to see the talent of our young people as they performed an array of dancing and singing routines, a boxing exhibition, Tae Kwon Do display and piano recital. The traditional year 12 fashion parade was a big hit as were the Toad Races!

Many of this year’s visitors were past students who had come for the Anniversary weekend. They were wowed by the quality of entertainment and explored the various educational and historic displays around the school and enjoyed catching up while eating Mrs Kerr’s fabulous cheesecakes.

Many thanks all our contributors, sponsors, staff and students and a special thanks to Mr Buttsworth and his team for organising such a successful, wonderful event.
