Our annual Cross Country event was held on Thursday 27 April. Even though a little warm for this time of year, it was an entertaining afternoon. Students thoroughly enjoyed running through the farm headlands and roads surrounding the school.
UPSTART was the winner by quite a margin on 386 points, followed by Beachmount in second on 252, and Inkerman third with 144. House Captains, Elayna Arboit and Elli Oakes proudly claimed the trophy on behalf of their Upstart team members.
The Home Hill State High School representative team will participate in the Burdekin State School trials Week 5, Tuesday 16 May, to be held at Burdekin Catholic High School.
Letters for our top four placegetters have been given out to student representatives. Please ensure they are returned on time to avoid confusion. Good luck to all competitors.
