Industrial Technology & Design

This semester has been very busy in Industrial Technology and Design. Our year 12s have been very busy designing and making their final projects of their secondary schooling life. Michael Rossato has been developing a canopy to hold a roof top tent on the back of his ute, while Christopher Previtera designed and constructed a dog crate to match his ute. Some of the other year 12 design projects include cantilever tool boxes and fire pits which will be finished in the next few weeks. The year 9 students have seen the introduction of a new project into the woodwork area, that being a timber coffee table.

I am very proud of the work they have produced and they are too. Our year 10s have also been working on some new and exciting projects getting their first taste of using a metal lathe and also an introduction to electronics through a variety of different kits made available. I would like to thank all our students of putting in a fantastic effort in all their projects that they have completed this year and look forward to seeing what can be achieved next year.
