The Junior Secondary concept is drawn from the reality that students in their younger adolescent years are different than the older students, and have differing emotional, social and academic needs.
Home Hill SHS is the ideal location to care for young people and to inspire active and inquisitive minds. Our staff are there to guide and support students, while motivate them to achieve their academic potential.
As part of the leadership model of our school, Junior Secondary school captains form part of the wider Junior Secondary student committee who are elected to express their opinions and provide service to other Junior Secondary students.
