Welcome to Home Hill State High School

We invite you to find out more about what we do to provide the best opportunities for the young people of the Burdekin region.

Our school has an outstanding record of achievement, and is proud of its history and traditions. A small school which has a wonderful community feeling, and offers much with high quality teaching and a solid range of academic and vocational subjects.

We believe strongly in our young people, and are committed to providing the very best education and support for them. This year, year 7 students have started high school for the first time and have made an excellent transition. Click here for more information.

We invite all students and their parents to attend a year 6 into year 7 induction day program on Monday 30 November. This full day induction program is designed for those who are intending to attend Home Hill SHS in 2016, but all year 6s are more than welcome to come and experience our school and see why we are one of the best performing schools in Queensland!
