Welcome to Home Hill State High School

We invite you to find out more about what we do to provide the best opportunities for the young people of the Burdekin region.

Our school has an outstanding record of achievement, and is proud of its history and traditions. A small school which has a wonderful community feeling, and offers much with high quality teaching and a solid range of academic and vocational subjects.

We believe strongly in our young people, and are committed to providing the very best education and support for them. This year, year 7 students have started high school for the first time and have made an excellent transition. Click here for more information.

Current project: Home Hill SHS does not have a suitable undercover area for sport or assemblies.

We must limit UV exposure for our students to protect them, and we need your help to build our multi-purpose shelter. Our kids deserve to be safe!
