Home Hill State High School's Senior School comprises Year 10, 11 and 12.
In Year 10, students are sharpening their focus towards their future careers and time is devoted to the development of the Senior Education and Training Plan (SET Plan). This process provides an opportunity for students, parents and staff to assist a student in their subject selection and career pathway choices.
Our school provides a good range of senior subjects, providing pathways to academic, vocational and direct employment futures. In senior, students can also complete school based apprenticeships or traineeships while studying at school. Such subjects include Essential, General and Mathematical Methods, Biology, Chemistry, Science in Practice, English, Essential English, Art in Practice, Legal Studies, Accounting, Business, Industrial Technology, Design, Agricultural Science, Physical Education and Sport & Recreation and Hospitality Practices.
For students who wish to study outside the regular subject offerings, we provide support for these students who choose to study externally through the School of Distance Education.
