Home Hill High School promotes the 'Smart Choices’ policy of the Queensland Government. The Healthy Food and Drink Supply policy applies to the school canteen.
The P&C runs the school canteen at which students may purchase a wide range of foodstuffs and drinks. All profits go to the P&C Association to benefit the school.
Many parents find their involvement as a tuckshop volunteer an enjoyable social occasion and an opportunity to gain insights into the education the school is providing.
The assistance provided by volunteers in maintaining this service is greatly needed and appreciated. Tuckshop begins on the first day of school. A volunteer form is included in the Student Information Booklet distributed to all students at the start of the year.
Students may now pre-order salad trays and wraps from the tuckshop. The standard menu has an extensive range of options. To pre-order students must pay at the tuckshop before the 8.45am bell. Alternatively orders can be paid for using the www.quickcliq.com.au portal. Please refer to the tuckshop menu (PDF, 85 KB) for a list of options and prices.
